We avoid evry ingredient that is known to damage curly hair: sulphates, parabens, silicones and alcohols. We also avoid mineral oils and microfiber fabrics.

WAVVES products are specifically formulated for long, thick and curly hair types, but are suitable for all hair types.

Our products were inspired by women's haircare rituals with a few differences. We wanted to find the simplest, most effective routine and create products that deliver the best bang for buck. That's why we stripped away the floral fragrance, fancy packaging and filler ingredients.

Of course! We (Amelia and Tara) created WAVVES with men in our lives in mind. We found that they had particular problems when it came to haircare so we worked closely with them to develop the products and routine they wanted.

In saying that, we are two women who love and use WAVVES products every day! Hair is hair, and our system is effective on locks no matter how they identify.

You won't find any animal products in our haircare. We are 100% Vegan.

Everything we send you, from the cardboard box our products come in to the aluminum lids on our glass bottles, all our packaging is 100% recyclable.

We are working towards creating bottle refills & using only 100% recycled plastic where we can't use plastic alternatives. Watch this space!

It's best to detangle hair when wet. Unfortunately combs made out of natural materials such as wood don't last long if they're exposed to moisture. Our combs are made with less plastic than a typical shampoo bottle and, if cared for properly, should last a lifetime.
